Street Child Cameroon has joined forces with the Stone Family Foundation to launch a powerful new program designed to change lives, one girl at a time.
In the challenging regions of North West and South West Cameroon, thousands of girls have been left behind, their dreams of a classroom fading with each passing year. But now, a beacon of hope arrives with partners strengthening ties for 4,000 girl child. This transformative partnership has a clear and vital mission, to safely transition 4,000 vulnerable girls, aged 6 to 13, into formal schools.
For these children, this is more than just enrollment. It is an invitation to a future they might never have imagined. The program recognizes that educating a girl is one of the most effective ways to break the relentless cycle of poverty. It gives girl child the tools not just to read and write, but to build a better life for herself, her family, and her entire community. By providing these girls with access to quality education, the initiative will fuel a powerful chain reaction per the partners. School enrollment rates will climb, and improved learning outcomes will follow.
This long-term investment does more than teach lessons, it builds confidence, promotes equality, and empowers an entire generation. The initiative has received overwhelmingly positive feedback, with widespread appreciation for the program’s focus on such a critical need. Many have expressed strong support for its clear and direct goal of enrolling thousands of girls in school.
