In a bid to support education and empower young people, Cimencam Figuil provided school supplies to 60 students and critical equipment to a local youth center during a ceremony presided over by local authorities. The event brought together the Mayor, traditional leaders, education officials, parents, and students from across the community. 60 students, selected from primary schools in Figuil and secondary schools in the surrounding cantons of Biou, Bidzar I, and II Lam, received complete school kits. This initiative was designed to ease the financial burden on families and encourage students to continue their studies.

Extending its commitment beyond the classroom, the company also provided 10 Category G driving licenses to local youths to enhance their employability in the transport and logistics sectors. The local Multifunctional Youth Promotion Centre received a donation of three key pieces of equipment for training and production, a multifunctional machine, an overlocking machine, and an embroidery machine. These tools are expected to strengthen the centre’s capacity to teach trades and foster local value creation per the officials. During the ceremony, the Mayor of Figuil praised the initiative as “highly commendable” and encouraged the company to continue its sustained action in favor of the youth, whom he called the engine of the community’s development.
