As the Ecrans Noirs festival celebration began, participants and visitors were not left out at the festival village. A dedicated team works hard behind the scenes to ensure a spotless environment for everyone.
The 29th edition of the Ecrans Noirs film festival began on September 20, 2025. As with every other year, the festival has put in place security measures for the exhibitors, participants, and invitees. The goal, as usual, is to keep the audience engaged all evening, but that is not the only objective.
Different exhibitors are present, hundreds of them ready to showcase their various services to different passers-by. The organization also prioritizes the safety of its invitees, and behind the scenes, a different kind of work is happening. A team is focused on keeping over 150 guests safe and the festival area clean. Monique Ngo Bayiha is in charge of security and cleaning.
She explained how her team is organized « We have two teams taking care of things. Two people work in the morning, and a team of four works through the evening and into the morning. » This schedule demonstrates how the festival is watched over and cleaned all day and night without a break.
This support is key to making sure everyone can enjoy the events and activities in a safe, pleasant environment.
